The Saddest Piece of Furniture-Sold

I bought this piece in a large lot of other pieces and I somehow didn't see how sad of shape this one was in.
It was bad. I think they left it out in a field with horses because there was gnaw marks all over it.
These pictures make the piece look like it wasn't that bad. But once you got in there and really checked it out, it needed some TLC.
Some real deep TLC. The bones of the piece were in good condition so that really helped. I had to strip it, fix all the broken pieces, put new pieces in and make a door for the open side.
This is what it turned out looking like!
So much better. This actually turned out to be one of my favorite pieces I've done.
It was a really heavy piece too. Solid.
I kept the original hardware which kept that charm to it that I loved.
Really amazing piece!

Double Blue Cabinet Sold

This was a really fun piece of furniture to do. I painted it white, changed where the handle was, (it was ridiculously high) put the detail work on, and then put chicken wire on the front.

I really like how it turned out and how great it looks.
The dimensions on this cabinet are 12" deep, 16" across, and 3 feet tall. I'm asking $89 for it.

TV Stand-Sold

I love this TV stand and if I had enough room in my house and an extra TV just sitting around.
Well I actually do have an extra TV sitting around.
I painted this red and then stained it so it looks fantastic!
There are places to stick your blue ray or DVD player on the bottom (VHS if you haven't upgraded yet) The drawers would be great for DVD's (or VHS's) The side door opens to a great place to hide an Xbox or Playstation or Wii (whatever floats your boat).
This one can hold your TV up for $250.00. REDUCED to $225!!!

Seeing Double-Sold

These two side tables were so fun to do. They were a really great quality. Well made.
 The drawers pulled out.
I did the bottom of them black and the top pain was green.
I distressed the sides and the top and then put a top coat of stain to bring out all the great detail work.

Double End Tables-Sold

These two end tables were a great find. It can be difficult to find end tables.
They have great character on the legs
The tops are painted gray and the bottoms are painted black.
The two are a pair but they aren't matching which helps with their uniqueness.

They are a really great find!

Blue Bell-Sold

Such a cute little table. When I got it, lets just say it was struggling.
I fixed the few problems that it had and it was like a new table again.
I love the turquoise on it. Makes it stand out and look fantastic.
This one is $25.00

Gray and White Dresser-Sold

This dresser came to me in really, really poor condition. It was beat up. The top was missing, a handle was missing and a few drawers needed fixed.
That is the reason I bought it. I loved the detail!
The handles were awesome! Thankfully I have an incredibly handy husband who can fix things like no top and damaged drawers.
The gray and white look really great together.
When it was all done I'm loving how it turned out. I'm asking $325.00 for it, REDUCED to $250!!!!

Pink Desk-Sold

That is the after (on top) and before (on bottom) picture.
When I picked this desk up the lady made it very clear that this desk was an antique. Well this antique had seen better days, a lot better days. The sides were coming apart.I wasn't sure if I should take it due to the amount of damage but I thought why not.
The previous owner was also very clear that the handles were porcelain. Yeah those were going to need to be updated.
I decided to paint this one pink. Maybe it was my granddaughters influence and her unquenchable need for pink.
This was kind of a difficult piece to fix. I needed to fix the bottom and I also needed to strip the previous paint. That took me a long time. After doing this one I'm not sure if I'll pick up pieces that need to be stripped.
The handles I kept but covered the hearts. They just didn't match the new look. For the sides I fixed them with some beadboard. Made the desk look a lot better.
The end result is fantastic. This desk would be a perfect fit for any little girl! I was asking $225.00 for it, REDUCED to $199!!!

Dresser Set-Sold

This dresser is adorable! When I found it I fell in love with it. I painted it green and white and then put a walnut stain over it. Ok, so that's me holding the door in place. No, it's not broken I just took it off and hadn't put it back on when we took pictures.
Look at that awesome detail!
Also detail in the legs.
Here's what you get when you open the door, more drawers! Really how cool is that?
I was so excited to do this piece because I knew it was just going to look great.
Here's the legs on the side. We took this picture in the garage since my husband wasn't awake to help us take it outside. This sucker is heavy, which is bad for moving but good because it means it's a nice solid piece of furniture that's going to last you years.
 A view from the side.
Here's the piece that goes with it.
I love the handles on the piece so intricate.
They are the same colors and look great together.
I love the way both of these pieces turned out!
Here they are together (minus that door I didn't get put on but it's on now). These really are neat solid pieces that are unique. I'm asking $475.00.
