Gray and White Dresser-Sold

This dresser came to me in really, really poor condition. It was beat up. The top was missing, a handle was missing and a few drawers needed fixed.
That is the reason I bought it. I loved the detail!
The handles were awesome! Thankfully I have an incredibly handy husband who can fix things like no top and damaged drawers.
The gray and white look really great together.
When it was all done I'm loving how it turned out. I'm asking $325.00 for it, REDUCED to $250!!!!

Pink Desk-Sold

That is the after (on top) and before (on bottom) picture.
When I picked this desk up the lady made it very clear that this desk was an antique. Well this antique had seen better days, a lot better days. The sides were coming apart.I wasn't sure if I should take it due to the amount of damage but I thought why not.
The previous owner was also very clear that the handles were porcelain. Yeah those were going to need to be updated.
I decided to paint this one pink. Maybe it was my granddaughters influence and her unquenchable need for pink.
This was kind of a difficult piece to fix. I needed to fix the bottom and I also needed to strip the previous paint. That took me a long time. After doing this one I'm not sure if I'll pick up pieces that need to be stripped.
The handles I kept but covered the hearts. They just didn't match the new look. For the sides I fixed them with some beadboard. Made the desk look a lot better.
The end result is fantastic. This desk would be a perfect fit for any little girl! I was asking $225.00 for it, REDUCED to $199!!!

Dresser Set-Sold

This dresser is adorable! When I found it I fell in love with it. I painted it green and white and then put a walnut stain over it. Ok, so that's me holding the door in place. No, it's not broken I just took it off and hadn't put it back on when we took pictures.
Look at that awesome detail!
Also detail in the legs.
Here's what you get when you open the door, more drawers! Really how cool is that?
I was so excited to do this piece because I knew it was just going to look great.
Here's the legs on the side. We took this picture in the garage since my husband wasn't awake to help us take it outside. This sucker is heavy, which is bad for moving but good because it means it's a nice solid piece of furniture that's going to last you years.
 A view from the side.
Here's the piece that goes with it.
I love the handles on the piece so intricate.
They are the same colors and look great together.
I love the way both of these pieces turned out!
Here they are together (minus that door I didn't get put on but it's on now). These really are neat solid pieces that are unique. I'm asking $475.00.

Half a Table-Sold

Here's what the table looked like before I did a redo on it. It was a cute table to start with but it had seen better days. The wood on top was needing some help. Someone had left something circular on it and it left it's mark.
After sanding down the top I decided a soft gray would look nice on the top.
Turquoise legs was my first choice for a paint color. Didn't want to do the whole thing turquoise since I knew it would be too overwhelming.
Originally I did the drawer turquoise but once I had it all painted I realized the drawer needed to be gray. I'm glad I made that choice because the end result was worth it.
I love the two contrasting colors. Before the drawer just blend into the table but now it really pops.
This table turned out really neat! I'm asking $49 for it.

Old Lady Mirror

My daughter picked this one up at a garage sale. I was a little skeptical at first but when she was done it ended up looking great and my granddaughters couldn't be happier.

Buffet-Reduced

The thing that drew me to this buffet was the handles. I loved them. I should have taken a before picture to show you what an awful state the buffet was in to start with. With large poorly painted hearts on the top it would have scared away the strongest of heart.
Did I mention it was painted lavender?
You could hear it screaming out to save it from it's purple purgatory.
And so I did. I painted it a dark gray on the sides with a light gray on the top and for the drawers. I left the handles to leave the old feel to it.
It can be yours for $325. REDUCED $250!!!!!!!!
I know I described it as a buffet but I could see it in a hallway, in a family room with a tv on top and the drawers used to hold movies or games. I could see it in a bedroom used as a dresser. Really this piece could be used anywhere. And yes, you could even use it in a dinning room for linens, plates, and silverware.

Cream and Back Hutch-Sold

I liked this hutch when I saw it. I loved the openness of it and the lines of it.
The detail of the bottom black part is another part that drew me to the piece.
The handles are fantastic. The whole hutch turned out wonderful. I'm asking $350 for it.REDUCED to $325.00!!!

Two Toned Desk-Sold

I loved the way this desk turned out. I saw on another website that they had done theirs with a white and a dark top and I knew this desk had to be the same. Except I wanted to use a softer white.
I painted it a creamier white, distressed it, and then stained it. The final effect was fantastic.
Here's a close up of the drawers and the fun handles I used. I like how the handles compliment the stain. Or would that be the other way around?
Now if only I could find an excuse to keep this piece. Only problem would be I don't need another desk.
But then do I really 'need' anything?

But if you do NEED it, it can be yours for $225.00.
